Simply a game the Wings MUST Win! 12 points droped from last 18 not good enough. More Injuries picked up with Perkins and Ashby hurt at Thurrock, no doubt Bluey can make a 10 day absence stretch to 3 months.
With Mark Saunders going to Folkestone thats one player who will not be bolstering the small squad. With games ticking by Adrian doesnt seem to be bringing in replacements to help the team as yet, i hope this will change very soon.
January is very hard, One home game and the Trophy game. Having said that NO EXCUSES in the trophy as the team are flying. So will get there quickly and face a lower league team.
Back to the Saints game, lets hope the real Welling turn up amd win and get the season back on track. Or some bodies are brought in while we still have a chance and NOT when its all gone tits up.
Wings draw again for me on Saturday. SEVENTH HEAVEN! Updates in here before during and after Saturdays game.

Irrespective of being provoked, throwing a punch at a football match should get a life ban, if the police and courts do not impose it then the League and most definitely Welling should. I wounder if his pals will sweep it under the carpet or if we will now get Welling Followers Association taking over from WSU that took over from WPC that took over from Freinds of Welling etc etc.
The Clubs actions will speak volumes here i hope they disassociate them selfs from Footbll thuggery displayed today and abuse on websites.

i know i am the last person you would want to talk to im one of the 4 'boys' standing with you in the first half 3 of us were simply trying to have fun in friendly singing banter and i admit my friend who was punched did go over the top! but the welling fan did throw the first punch and then we tried to hold my friend back. then he called the police. i am a regular there and that has never happened i just want to apologise for everything and hope we dont give our club a bad name. i dont like trouble i just wanted a bit of fun and singing banter like we do normally. i apologise on behalf of my friend. i do hope you do well this season even though i thought you were very poor today and we didnt give you a look in really!

e) The problem was instituted by the gobby chav after asking the steward to remove him from the Welling end. They did nothing, however he bit off just a bit more than he could chew.

I was at my first Welling game for some years being an exile, from what I saw of the incident the St Albans 'fan' started the nonesense by singing at the top of his voice United w**k w**k w**k, one of our supporters took offence and had a discussion with him which resulted in the boy becoming very gobby and asking the Welling fan to come ahead! If and I say IF he got a slap then he didn't look like it was a saw one as he was giving plenty more mouth still. I even heard the Welling supporter in the 2nd half saying it was a clip around the ear which I would say sounded about right.
My own personal opinion is the young boy either had too much drink or brave pills as he was really looking to cause trouble!
