Completely agree, when Barca are away they always go long to Messi or try and play in behind the back 4 as quick as possible.
A year ago Welling played a similar formation to Brazil at times. 4-2-3-1 and at times they passed it for fun, You are on drugs if you think any team outide of Barca play like Barca though, let along a Blue Square South one.

i would keep it to a page with a bit of sence of humour attached. If i ever got the job i would play a basic 4-4-2 formation with 2 quick wingers and 2 strikers who can score 16 goals between them also i would instruct my back four to go steaming into tackles like vinny jones did when he played got go in dirty let the opp know your here
I dont think 16 goals between two strikers is a very good return. Plus instructing defenders to steam into tackles like Vinny Jones will mean you end up with 9 players on the pitch each game.
i was shortlisted once for both erith and belverdere and maidenhead jobs over the past few years but silly idiot i turned it down would have been a good start in management.I know the non league scene inside out
What experience do you have to get short listed by those clubs? Trying to pick up ex-league players and playing a very predictable style of 4-4-2 would guarantee relegation battles yearly.
Yep i always think when watching barca play on a saturday night "it's just like watching welling"...can we just do what we always do (most of us) and concentrate on whats now...I don't care about if our ground is good enough for the league, we are not in it!..coinicidently it's not as people who know non-league inside out would know! I dont care about darius vassel or adam boyd either because i don't live in a land where money grows on trees. All i and most others care about is tomorrow, and if that goes tits up i'll only care about next week.

For short-listed read "I applied because I am deluded and was laughed out of town"
