Nice to go down the pub and tell them all the piffle on Sky was not the most important game played tonight. Even played darts like 27 years ago! Big hand all round. Respect to Salisbury for pushing us all the way but in the end not quite good enough. Superb job all round people.

The likes of Johnny Glover, John Bartley, Whitey, Abbo, Robins, Copes etc need to make a little room on that pedestal as there is some new blood coming in.

(John Farley would have been on there but knowing him in his unco-ordinated way he would have fallen off by now!)

A huge well done to Jamie and the lads for everything achieved this year.

I appreciate I've only followed the team for the last few years, so I think an extra big well done needs to go to those that have followed the club for a huge chunk, if not all of, the last 50 years. It's you guys that brought this club up, back from the brink, and up again. If it wasn't for you Welling may not have even been here to compete this season.

So on behalf of myself and the other 'fairly new' Wings followers thank you to Jamie and the lads for the most entertaining season I've ever had the pleasure to see, and a bigger thank you to everyone that allowed there to be a club for Jamie and the lads to play for. Onwards and upwards.

P.S To the guys behind the goal in the 2nd half of the Boreham Wood game slagging me and several other forum members off, yes I'll admit I may have got carried away with the whole 'don't forget to Facebook like' think on here but it's paid dividends with invaluable free publicity gained. Also, yes I was a MyFC member.... 6 years ago...along with 40,000 other people... for one year... I don't think it's crime of the century. PVR isn't heaving at full 5,000 capacity on match days so deterring new supporter isn't very productive for the club. It doesn't take alot for attendances to fall to Boreham Wood levels. Last but not least. Be careful what you say in future. There are eyes and ears everywhere.... rant over. On with the celebrations! COYW!!!

Huge thanks to Jamie, the team & everyone else for a fantastic season. A great way to celebrate our 50th anniversary (mine too!). It's been a long time waiting for another promotion but to do it after all the problems the club had a year or so ago is amazing.

Two main aims for next season - stay up & finish above Dartford!

Perhaps everyone involved at the club should be granted the freedom of Welling! They could be allowed to walk their sheep down Bellegrove Road once a year or something like that.

More press coverage next seasoin as even though Radio ****e of Medway wont cover us, most other teams are covered home and away.

Would really love it if Radio Kent were banned from Commentating live at PVR, let them update but not commentate, show them whos boss.
