Rather not sign Wil back, If Pugh came back i would jump off a dolls house.. Have read people say hes been released from Cambridge... You dont get released when you have a seasons contract left... you get paid off if they want you out.

Can anyone see Pugh signing when we will probably have Lafayette, Guthrie, Pires, KHM at least up front? I would say its as likely as Woking winning BSP next season despite people telling me its on the cards.

I think Loick is also going on TFP's training camp so he should be fighting fit for pre-season

And one of Loick or KHM is going to need a new song...

Yippee! A few people on here won't be happy but I'm ecstatic because Jamie will get the best out of Loick and he will produce the goods.

He will improve from his second season as he did from his first dramatically. You know he will be keen and hes only ever said good things about the club.

Technically hes up there with Healy and i think its a very good signing.

Welcome back to Loick.

A match winner on his day. Can be frustrating but he knows the manager and the majority of the players so hopefully he can kick on in the BSP after a taste of it last season.

Great signing, had a few mixed opinions about him on here but i've always rated him. Scored some great goals and with Jamie's guidance has the potential to be a key player for us next year. I'm sure Chris will be very happy!

Very pleased with the 3 signings so far, hopefully more are announced over the coming days.

In Jamie we trust.

Wow, we'd mentioned him plenty on here but I didn't think it would actually happen.

As I said before - I wasn't sure about him, but I'm more than willing to give him my full support because on his day, he's fantastic. Let's just hope he can have those days more often during the coming season(s). Welcome back Loick

I am indeed delighted with this news.

Pires will work his nuts off for us next season. Him and Roscoe up top (if he signs, please god!) will win us matches that we've no right to.

I must admit that  I was a little surprised that more players did n't depart with messers Martin, Kinch and Main. Will be a big step up next season, not just in quality but in fitness and conditioning.

A big thanks to those three players departing. All made important contributions last season and have written themselves into WUFC history.

Yep, fingers crossed Roscoe is staying, because him and Loick up top together would leave any non-league centre back pairing battered, bruised and knackered

You can never have too many goalscorers...especially if we're going to be playing 4-3-3. All the names mentioned are pretty versatile and can play anywhere across a front 3.

I'd love to get Pugh back, but can't see it happening sadly

Absolutely, If Cumbers is fit in pre season hes definitely in the mix. If hes fit would love him to stay.

I too would be delighted if Pugh was to come back, him, Kurtis, Loick and hopefully Roscoe has the potential for plenty of goals. Having heard what he is/was on at Cambridge though may prove difficult.

Really would like to be proved wrong though!

Superb news, always been a massive fan. Just because it didn't work out for him in Conference before doesn't mean it can't for us.

A few 'fans' in the old stand may not be best pleased though!!!

Old stand ' fan ' and I hope that he proves us all wrong. Roscoe runs his socks off for 90 minutes every game and is great at tracking back- Loick went missing on quite a few occassions. I am willing to be proved wrong next season - welcome back fella.

I'm in the old stand as well, it was more specific to certain people who loved to shout abuse at him and slag him off while he was playing for us.

Big difference between that and just not rating him (which people are fully entitled to do of course, their opinion)

Good call. Never slagged any player unwittingly, but I hope that Jamie gets his work ethic up a few notches. He COULD be a good asset to us.

Especially if the game is segregated and the away supporters have that part of the ground.

If Jamie's happy, then I'm happy.

Best bit is we sold him for a fee only 12 months ago and have got him back on a free.

Hopefully Jamie can get him back to his best.

Delighted to see him back and as players player the other year can't have done much wrong. Works just as hard as Roscoe in his own way. People see what they want to see including me!

Back on topic

Loick is getting dogs abuse on Dirtford forum, Hes a **** a ***** a diver and a cheat according to them. No abuse from Woking fans on their forum.

I hope Loick rips Dirtford to pieces and has a T-Shirt under his shirt saying thanks for the motivation he can show them when he scores against them.

Tori isnt a Welling fan and weve had this many times its so sad.

Mark, any idea how you pay someone who is now on double what he was on at PVR and paid 52 weeks of the year?

Shall we just go and overspend again and get in the crap of 3 years ago? Or does Pughy come back on half the money he was on and go get a window cleaning round to help pay his mortgage?

The only way i think we would have got him back is if Cambridge gave him a severence payment to get him off his final year of his contract.

Hardly.....he isnt wanted by cambridge...they allegedly want rid.....they will therefore release him from his contract then it is up to Pughy whether he wants to go part time again

I think that is a possibility

I am with Tom on this one.

If Pughy came back (and I think we would all love that) he will be on a lot smaller wage than at Cambridge allied to the fact that he will be paid for 40 weeks rather than 52.

I don't know how he is going to cover that shortfall and I am as sure as hell that we couldn't/shouldn't/wouldn't cover it ourselves.

We need to cut our cloth accordingly and stick to it.

 Hang on...

Andy Pugh is on contract and Cambridge will "release him"??

Erm... lol  it doesnt work like that, they would have to give him 10-15k as a goodbye.

Dartford are trying to throw the cash around in pre season, surpriised they havent offered Wayne Rooney a deal... let them overspend trying to stay up. Any players that want to go there for more money. Let them.
