Having Dartford at home on New Years Day is still a good money spinner.
Gateshead away in December.... will have to bring the thermals...
May seem like a tough start but Wrexham, Woking and Grimsby have chopped and changed their squads a bit. It will take time for their teams to gel. Our's have obviously gelled already and will be fit and raring to go.
The main test will be the latter part of the season where the squad starts to wear thin.
I can see us having a season a bit like Dartford's last season. Great start but limping over the finishing line.
and we come into the fa cup two rounds later so a much better chance of progression.......I'd always take a cup run over a good league run myself anyway and considering we haven't had a good cup run for five or so years we are hopefully due one
Looking at the first 10 or so home fixtures, how many do we think will threatened with the dreaded Segregation?
As an educated guess would have thought Aldershot and Barnet. Cannot see any need for segregation against Grimsby after last year. However what do I know its upto the local Inspector of Constabulary to make the decision
After the first game at Wrexham, Welling are scheduled to play four teams which they met last season in a row. I doubt these teams will be surprised by how Welling will play!
