Another centre back plus a couple of trialists/JoeBo/Barney/Cumbers and we're all set I think.

Great news.  The new centre half had only been at Exeter for a day before being loaned out! If a player is loaned for the season, can he be recalled?

I dont think he can......If you read their message boatrd he is loaned out to 'cut' the wage bill a bit as well as getting games

Whether he can be recalled will depend on the terms of the loan, it will have been agreed from the outset.
I don't understand why they would sign him and then loan him out. Why sign him at all.
