A question for computer savvy forum members

As you may know I am a member of the luddite community and I still use a typewriter when I need to write a letter.  However I have a need to make some forms and price lists for use in the club shop. I don't feel like paying out silly money for microsoft word and was wondering if anyone out there could suggest a good free word processing programme that is not going to infect my computer with a virus. I have looked at Libre and it seems ok but I really do need a bit of advice on this one.

Thanks

Yep in terms of free software you can't go wrong with open office. Alternatively Google docs is free and will probably do everything you need.
