The player shirts won by chelwing for winning Fantasy Wings and for Ron Manager who was runner up will be with me on Tuesday for the Southampton game.
At the moment Fantasy Wings for next season is in doubt unless we can find a scorer for each match. This takes around 10-15 mins per game, if anyone is up for scoring then please post in this thread. If a scorer can be found we will start taking entries.
If we do run Fantasy Wings then it raises money for the club as all monies will go on shirt sponsorship with the prizes the Player(s) shirts sponsored.

Fantasy Wings looks like running again, thanks to Moo stepping in to score the matches.
Briefly entrants select the score of every Welling United league, fa cup and trophy match and the first Welling scorer (or no scorer) and get points for any they get correct.
Entries are posted on the Fantasy Wings forum.
Entry is £10 with ALL MONEY going on sponsorship to the club prizes will be the players shirt(s)
Last year we sponsorerd Obo's and Kiernan's shirts.
You can pay via cash at a game (Grimsby at home on 17th August will be the deadline for payments) or via paypal.

Righto, I've searched down the sides of the sofa; robbed the gas meter of the 'shillings', took the bottle tops back to the off license for the 'returns', saved up my dinner money and have sold my body to science. I now have enough to enter.
Moo has opened the first scoring thread for the Wrexham match in the Fantasy Wings forum on here.
Anyone who has entered in this thread can put their predictions up. If anyone else wants to join, please post in this thread that you wish to join and agree to either pay me or moo at ground or a game by Aug 17th end or pm me to pay by paypal. The entry fee is £10 for the season with all monies going to the club via sponsorship of players kit Lets get a few more of you entering.

Would anyone else like to join up? As JGFC says, just another three entries would allow us to sponsor two players' shirts, and means that we will have two signed shirt prizes for the end of the season.
Would be good to get a few more people join this seasons as we can already sponsor two players and have their shirts as prizes. If we get more entries Moo can look at more prizes through the season or for 3rd place etc.
Its very easy to enter. Just predict the match score and first Welling scorer ahead of each match.
Just post in this thread if you want to enter and post in the Wrexham thread on Fantasy Wings section of this forum with your prediction.

For those who have signed up to this year's FW, please ensure you visit the Fantasy Wings section of the forum and make your predictions for the Wrexham match.

Once everyone is paid we can see if we have 2 shirts to sponsor and pay the club. So far just one drop out so it looks like we should be ok by payment is needed by the end of Saturdays game please. Come and see me to pay.

As one dropped out and three others havent paid as requested by the end of the Grimsby game,we were short of the 24 payments needed to sponsor two shirts, however a new player has offered to pay to join as we had 23 paid and we now have the 24 needed. We have sponsored Loick's away shirt and Harry Beautyman's home shirt.
