Clarkie's goal was an absolute stunner, goal of the month is already a good competition after two games, ball into him with his back to goal and hes controlled and dinked it, turned the defender and then smashed it in left footed straight past the keeper. You dont save them Clive.

I think 1000 is a great crowd anyway but considering the circumstances with England and the weather it is even better

It will be like that for quite a few home games so we need to be loud and proud!!

It is bringing the pennies in....there should be a few more than that on Saturday I would guess...they brought a few to the Trophy game and I would guess they will bring more for the league game

I'd be disappointed if there weren't 12-1300 there on Saturday. My prediction would be 1231.

Im sure crowds will increase especially if we get a few results.

Strange Lafayette seems to get little praise, I thought with the ball at his feet he was unplayable and held the ball up often against 2-3 defenders. He will be crucial if we are to do well this year.

Also our centre backs were outstanding.

I'm quite impressed with our new lad Jalladeher (from the Cambridge website). What is it with Conference National and our team  names?

That name was also on the BBC match report.

He was called that on Football Web Pages all last season so I guess it is some sort of Press Association problem.

I'm in favour of singing the Gallagher song that he prefers but am a little uneasy at using swear words in songs as some away games may be with over enthusiastic stewards keen in finding excuses to evict away supporters.

Easy enough to change the expletive to the less offensive "bloody" I suppose

Perhaps we could survey the players to ensure they all like their songs, or ask if they have any requests.
