See my comment as the joke it was intended to be and the hope that it would lower the tension you and my brother seem to want to bring to the forum.

I agree with much of what you say Tom, just not all. Same goes for everyone else. We've spoken about this before Tom. Chill out. Not everyone wants to fight. x

Its easy to say after the event its a joke when having a pop on a fake account.

LOL at tension, ridiculous

Some people are posting negativity at every opportunity despite not seeing games maybe thats causing this tension you think exists.

As Jamie said the other day "Get behind the players, keep cheering them and hopefully we have more good results than bad results"

I am sure it was taken as a joke by everyone that read it, you included I hope.

I agree that the negativity should stop. It should never have started. Constructive comments and criticism is a must though. There is no perfect club in the land. There are always improvements to be made. But constructive and negative is a fine balance. Slating people left, right and centre, I agree, is pointless. And Jamie is doing a great job. That has never been in doubt. Him, and the team, deserve nothing but support ... whether a 46 games attendee, volunteer or casual one off attendee.

Calm dooooooooooooooooooooooon about kids bench warming LOL. I think Supporters going to games and making noise would be more advantageous to us than taking a 17 year old to sit on a bench... I think we took about 60 to Hereford, thats pathetic on a Saturday and Thurrock-esque (Those that went were good as always). I know Dartford have failed to run a coach and Woking too and some people are struggling but Groupsave made the trip pretty cheap.

Groupsave was £23,WUSA offered to run a coach . Lead from the front. shouting the team on would be much more use than having a youngster sit on a bench for 90 minutes.

Harry was there on Saturday, Kurtis was there and failed a fitness test. Its not as if we went there with no players for the bench.

The only part i agree with, is name 5 subs even if they arent fit. Dont show any weakness to the oppo,

Webb needs a scan, Harry wasnt quite ready, Kurtis failed a fitness test before Hereford all said by Jamie after Hereford.

What has crowd numbers got to do with having a full bench??

If Kurtis was having a fitness test then there is/was a chance he would fail it so where was the contingency plan for a "17th man?" I am pleased that he and Beautyman were there supporting thier mates but that doesn't help us out come 3 o'clock on matchday...

Who would we rather have on the bench - Ouani, Hudson, Zeppo or the invisible man??

Crowd numbers and full bench, i thought i made my point.

Loud numerical support in my opinion would have been a better benefit on Saturday than having a 17 year old striker sit on the bench. Jamie had subs there, he brought on Kiernan, a forward and he had himself and JoeBo on the bench. So he had cover in defence, midfield and upfront despite Kurtis failing a fitness test.

As previously stated i would have named Kurtis or Harry on the bench just to put the oppo away. I believe Cambridge did that to us at our place and only had 14 fit players.

I think it is unfair to slag off people who don't go to every away game as maybe people are working, are strapped for money or as in my case want a rest after a hard weeks work. Before anyone comments I have travelled all over and travelled to a Monday night game a long time ago away to Hednesford when we were in danger of going down but we won, remember gave the legendary Tudor Jones a lift back to Welling. This season will be hard enough without these petty feuds, Chill everyone and lets get back on track on Saturday!!

I once walked to the other side of the room to get the remote to watch a game, and only this morning I walked to the bathroom to have a piss rather than go in my dungarees as usual (why I do not know, my tripod length could reach I suspect).

Am I entitled to an opinion? or must I maintain silence until such time as I sing loudly or buy a video camera?

Not at all, just post on a fake account and back a member of your family up trolling, thats much the best way to offer an opinion.

I did laugh though when it was stated that although they werent at Wrexham one of our players had a bad game as the commentator didnt mention them a lot despite them being a sub.

How people can comment on wether having a 17 year old on the bench would help when they werent even there is equally beyond me we had more of the game than Hereford and the players played well without having that little bit of ruthlessness or moment of brilliance which you need in this league.... I strongly doubt whether a youngster who hasnt played at this level and who plays 2 or 3 leagues below often from the bench would have outplayed the players that did so well at Hereford. I would value someones opinion if they differed from mine if they were there a lot more than people who werent who just want a good moan up as usual.

Stop fuelling the "tension" by twisting my comments then.

What I actually said was "disappointing if true about Loick" in reference to the comments made by another forum user who was at the game. I then stated the fact that once he did come on, it sounded from the commentary like he barely got a kick, while Roscoe still seemed to be heavily involved. I then went on to say that Loick, on his day, is a very good player. Never once did I say anything bad about him but you can twist it however you like to fit your agenda.

I dont disagree with much of that. Lets hope people heed your post and Jamie's request for support.

Anyone thats seen the away games will have seen this squad play better than all 3 opponents. Nit picking over things and criticising players that they havent seen is crass and counter productive and ill informed.

Someone, apologies I forget who amongst the plethora of posts, mentioned that we haven't yet been outplayed by anyone ... home or away. And we've had a bloody hard start on paper. So lets rally behind the troops, up the noise, and up the general positivity. We are Wings.

I'm not saying that one of the youngsters would have offered anything different to the players efforts on Saturday (I thought we played very well) but Jamie was named as a sub and im 99% sure he never warmed up once. What would have happened if Clarkie had an injury and needed to come off? Wouild Jamie, who hadn't warmed up, and wasn't ready to play have come on and risked an injury himself? Instead we could of had a youngster who is a pair of fresh legs and would be working their nuts off to get a regular place in the starting 11 or on the bench.

As for the arguing, everyone is entitled to their opinion and forums will create debate and constructive criticism. The personal stuff needs to stay off here and stick to private messages. As i continually say we are Welling UNITED.

Anyway Hereford is done with and hopefully whatever side we put out tonight will get a result. Then let's hope that we can keep PVR a fortress with a win on Saturday.

In Jamie we trust.

I believe that the bench should consist of a goalkeeper and a minimum of three fit outfield players. Jamie can then add himself, giving the illusion of a full bench. It would even give him the option of pretending to warm up and have a word with a linesman if he was so inclined although that really isn't his style.
