WSU organised nostalgia evening. Legends confirmed are Copes, Terry Robbins and Nigel Ransome plus two other as yet unamed players from the Conference days. Surprised that Phil Handford has not been named but perhaps it is felt that it would bring focus to bear on Welling today rather than Welling past.

Well, one of the players could be Wayne Brown, who now manages Erith. Other possibles Finnan, Barron, Bartley, Horton, Abbo, Paul Sawyer, Tricky Trevor, Is Derek Richardson out of nick ?? Perhaps they havent even got the other 2 people yet. It gould be Barry Goberts too!! or Mark Cooper.
