FA Cup debutants Guernsey earned a much-craved home draw against Dover Athletic in The FA Cup Second Round Qualifying, to be played on the weekend commencing 27 September.

54 Bromley v Burgess Hill Town
56 Ebbsfleet United v Folkestone Invicta
57 Guernsey v Dover Athletic

There was talk elsewhere that Guernsey have to play their games on the mainland (Worthing) as part of the deal to allow them in the FA Cup BUT I may be wrong

I think they have to play their home replays there.

Correct, they can't play home games mid-week as the flight times out of Guernsey aren't late enough.

I quite fancy Folkestone to at least get a replay.

Nice to only have one round to contend with this year before the 1st round proper.....less rounds for our normal collapse to happen!!!!

Its 30 years of the same story? Didnt we make the first round of the FA Cup 6 times running or some such thing, the 2nd round twice and the third round once when we were in this league for 14 seasons straight before?

I would back this squad and this manager to do the job more often than not in the 4th qualifying round.

People could always go and support Chelmsford or Dover.... they have lots to be moaning about. We dont.

It is 30 years of a similar story Peter/Paul......apart from a couple we have always struggled against odd teams EVEN when we are playing well....

Then this would be a good year for it to change! Started the season off well and a cup run would be good for the club as well as the supporters.

I would think that the FA Cup may have a little more importance this year, now the primary aim of promotion has been achieved. I'd be very surprised it we got knocked out by a lower league side this season

Hope so Mark....I thought it was hugely important for pennies in the last few year...just that this year we are closer to real pennies than we were before!!

Not any more. It seems like Dover have managed to switch the game to Lancing, Sussex

Not going to win many friends on this I would think
