I was just thinking "how the hell have they managed that?" Then saw this in a comment on a linked article. May not be accurate but:
"With regards to the 87 arrests for Nuneaton Town. The heavy handed tactics of Warwickshire Police in Nuneaton town centre saw a large group of people being forced in a public house by the police officers use of 'kettling'. Most of the people, if not all, inside the public house were then arrested. Of those who were arrested, all charges were later dropped.
The incident did not happen in or around Nuneaton Town's football ground, so whether or not this contains as football hooliganism is in itself debatable."
