Take a look at the Barnet forum, they don't seem to care much for him - some really negative comments about him, especially his performance in the match against Macclesfield. I can't believe they are talking about one of our championship-winning players like that.
When does this go to the tribunal? Call me a cynic but maybe it's a concerted effort to push the price down...
Trust me, he's been rubbish! Gives away free kicks from trying to win headers everytime. Doesn't help him he doesn't fit into this passing philosophy we have going nor a lack of confidence now. We've had no other fit centre back, last week AA was dropped for Sir Davids at the back. Not sure what'll happen Saturday! I'm sure when we signed him you lot rated your other centre back more?

What other commitments? Visiting the Playboy mansion? Tbh it is a little bit more appealing than Gateshead away but can hardly motivate his players.
This is a quote from the mailonline:
The Dutchman, who has chosen to wear the number one shirt this season but hasn't exactly been the first name on the teamsheet, saw his team almost battle back from two goals down to claim an unlikely point against the out-of-form Silkmen.
Macclesfield player Andy Halls joked afterwards that Davids demands that his players address him as 'mister' on the pitch.
Halls tweeted: 'Just played against Edgar Davids. His players have to address him as Mr on the pitch. He may have had a ledge career but what a bad muppet.'
Muppet sounds about right. Maybe we should call him 'Mr' Muppet?
I think he and Unfairclough will be getting a bit of stick from the Wings massive today.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh When the Wingssssss
They don't call him Sir, it's Mister. People get the wrong idea about that, it's the same in Italy.
The first thing I did when I got here was to try to build contact with them. I don't want them to call me "Boss" or "Gaffer" like they do in England but "Mister" like in Italy. Not Edgar. I'm a little bit their teacher. I want them to be professional and clear in the need to win. I don't want the word "Boss" because the players are their own "bosses". They are responsible. When I talk to them I don't give them advice. I try to help them work out what it is that isn't working. I want them to be able to self-analyse. At the end of the day I ask them more questions than I give them answers. They've got to be proactive. "Why?" is the word I use most during training. They've got to work their brains. They've got to think for themselves. If I try and do it for them then it'll go in one ear and out the other."
The guy who runs beesoverseas is based here and specifically asks those who've just got back or were at game etc to rate. I think it's more just to help overseas fans feel more part of everything :)
Wise words - not so pro-active, and I'm sure it raises a few of his "why's?" when he isn't there on the coach to head north for your away games. I bet they are working their brains on that one.
He's been seen at the training ground working with the rest of the squad on Saturday mornings. It was pre agreed he wouldn't always travel to overnight ones. We have to accept he's got other commitments. As long as the players knew this and are fine with it personally I am (no idea what they think). Our assistant coach is more like our manager anyway and always has been on the sidelines but the three work together again very much like a Dutch system. The players probably know more tbh.
I heard all that on the Non League Football Show on Radio Five Live. Not convinced it works. Imagine this ... you have a poor run from now until Christmas, you go up north on a Saturday and lose, the decision is made to sack the "manager" following a poor run ... even though he wasn't there. It doesn't work. Simple. There is a reason no-one else does it. Someone must be the head guy and have the final decision. If that is Davids fine, but he can't make decisions on subs, tactics, etc etc, in play if his team are up north and he is coaching the ressies in London.
Oh, and another thing. If it was pre-agreed that he wouldn't travel fine, but whoever hired him, your Chairman no doubt, knowing he wasn't going to be available on a lot of Saturdays, is a moron. You lose your chief decision maker, and one of your key players. Brilliant. Well done. Probably the same idiot that allowed a stand to be built at your new ground that breaches planning regulations and might end up getting ripped down.
Stop believing everything you read, that was from the daily mail
I can GUARANTEE he was not at playboy mansion. He was at a playboy photoshoot weeks before season started but they've completely made that up.
You make some fair points and I can't defend it completely. What I do know is Id rather have him at Bfc in this form than not at all. Sorry no time to go into detail now and I appreciate it May seem blinkered. There is only talk of this sir business and coaching set up now not last season when it nearly kept us up despite three points from twelve games.
As for planning what do you know about Harrow local politics? It's all just that.
