And the word on the street is, The Welling Philamonic Orchestra was short of woodwind

instruments and Daisy has loaned them his OBOE'S !!!!

According to BBC there were 24 seconds between Gregory committing a foul and scoring the second ... if true, that has to be a Welling mistake surely?

A couple of Halifax youths just jumped the barrier into to Welling end, while the steward next to the barrier just stood there and watched!
The police came and sorted it out, while several other stewards just stood around.

The first goal might have been offside, but the fact is that Halifax have been much better than us so far.

if only we'd played in the first half as we are in the second. However, despite several corners we haven't really looked like scoring.
Butcher MOTM for me - made three excellent saves, including immediately before their first, and has commanded his area well. Don't think he had much of a chance with any of the goals.

Well...For the first time this season I think I can honestly say that we were simply AWFUL in the first half and also looked dis interested too!!!.....didnt feel that they gave 100%

I am sure that isnt the case BUT it looked like it

Bailey was like a duck out of water at left back - hardly a surprise as he probably only found out in the morning but got dragged too far inside every time...their winger must have thought xmas had come early

Time to forget this and move on to next week.

I wasn't there but sounds like a bad day at the office and every team is going to have them. Baily has been outstanding so far and you have to remember he is a17 year old playing out of position because we don't have lots of options so it's a bit harsh to single him out.

Best thing we can do is move on, go to Brislington and make sure we do what is required to get through there (and 1-0 is good enough) and then really focus on Lincoln in two weeks. We have bounced back each time before and we have a good group of players so no one should doubt they will do again.
