Totally agree Chris. We need to make ground improvements for us to stay in this league. That requires money. We already have to share the gate 50/50 with Luton so why reduce the money we make. At current ticket prices there will be 2500-3000 in attendance

Would be a disaster if it was moved to a Sunday. Crowds are always lower on a Sunday but Man Utd are playing Arsenal on that day too!
I believe I'm correct in saying that this is our first home tie in the FA Cup proper for 24 years- the last being a 2-1 defeat to Reading in the 3rd Replay!

Charlton are at home to Leeds on the same day is what some have suggested as being The reason for a Sunday game. Leeds and Luton fans mixing at London Bridge... Lets see what happens.
I can't see it being a massive crowd - only 1400 at Woking yesterday. I reckon 1500-1600 is more likely. Anyway lets win it bank the prize money and move on.
I've noticed a lot of supporters seem to have a very naive attitude with regards to predicting attendances, as well as an equally hostile attitude to the prospect of attracting new supporters. It's almost like Tubbs and Edwards from the League Of Gentleman have set up their own football club: "This is a local club for local people! There's nothing for you here."
Last year when we played Grimsby at home, a lot of supporters opposed the suggestion of lowering ticket prices for the game, stating we would be getting crowds of 3000+. The reality: Ticket prices of £10 and an attendance of just over 1000 with half the crowd being the usual 400-500 hardcore home supporters and hardly any new supporters.
With the mild weather and high expectations Luton have taken away crowds of 1000 maximum so far this season. With colder weather, tighter budgets and the fact we're only a part-time side, we'll be lucky to attract 500 Luton fans.
Also as others have pointed out, Charlton are playing at home on the Saturday. To a neutral, their game with Leeds is far more attractive than our 'non-league' fixture. Especially as Charlton's cheapest seated ticket is £15 and ours is £16!
Maybe £5 a ticket for the FA cup game is too cheap but at the same time £15/£16 is definitely too steep.
Until people start looking at this club from the outside in, we will continue to have low attractiveness to neutrals and consequently crap attendances, crap atmospheres, and crap finances, with absolutely no prospect of EVER becoming a full time side.
This isn't a big game for Luton or even an important one. The Luton's of this world will treat it like the Premier league clubs do the League Cup, field squad players and concentrate on the league. Only becomes important to them when a big name comes in or it's the fifth round onwards. All this talk of ticket prices, moving the game etc. won't be an issue.
Luton are planning to bring between 1200- 1500 plus .
Depending on how well we get on Saturday and the following Tuseday respectively this could swell to around 2000 easily

If the game is moved to Sunday it will cut the attendance hugely. I know of 5 blokes in my local who as soon as they heard the draw said they were going to the game. If its moved to Sunday they almost certainly wont go.

Unfortunately Luton won't get that many in their part of the ground (surely).

Taking it seriously or not, I can't see you bringing 1500-2000 considering you took 537 to Woking in the previous round.

How are these figures calculated other than complete guesswork.
You "plan to bring" 1200-1500 ... you've surveyed every luton fan have you?
Besides, as mentioned before, you won't fit that many in your designated area so best get there early.
Don't forget that we are such a big draw we were\are their lowest ever crowd for a competitive match (and it had better not be that bloody cold Saturday week!)
