A total nonsense and a farce. How can any away supporter plan for that?

Yes we want a Saturday later in the season in order to combine the day with a trip to Cleethorpes!

Wonder what the lowest ever away support total is...because Grimsby on a Tuesday night should challengeit!

I believe that Histon had zero fans (not counting comps and/or directors etc...) for an away game at Wrexham once (and I am not even sure if it was a midweek game either)

I think we should beat that.

There was once 4 of us at an away league match at Merthyr.

Russ and I, Stafford (I think) and maybe Peter Mason if memory serves.

The club arrived late, we lost and, to cap it all, I think Lew Watts got injured.

The only place my former girlfriend took one look at the town and decided to come to the football instead! (Rare recommendation as she was a Bluenose who had previously had a Welsh boyfriend...)

And given the place, I'd venture that was 4 too many of us to grace it.....

Technically I was press that night, too...

As Sherpa said, the club arrived late - prompting a late kick-off - and we were still on the coach as the hosts score the game's only two goals inside the first 10 minutes. Bud Boy got injured and was nearly dropped off the stretcher several times as he was carried off. On top of that I think Gavin Kelly broke his hand/thumb and never played for us (or anyone else?) again.

The game had to be played within 42 days of the original date to meet League rules. Hell of a trek for Tuesday night.

So, six Tuesdays to pick from, then and they choose one that completely screws us fans over.

Are you saying that in a six week spell there was no Tuesday that had a danger of clashing with a replay? It could have been foreseen and played this week, couldn't it?
