I did say people were getting carried away with crowd estimates of 2000-3000+... Oh well, we're through to the next round that's the main thing.
Now i don't want to boast but I did say 1500-1600. Wonder how many Luton brought. Old stand sold out lots behind the goal. Would suggest not that many.....
Is that definitely right that Keanu Marsh-Brown will be suspended for Barnet on Tuesday? Good news if so, was by far their most dangerous player at PVR.
Got in about 5.45 after some traffic delays outside the ground. Turned on the radio, which was tuned into Radio Kent for a round up of "local" action. What is the first thing I hear? The presenter saying that Gillingham should consider appointing a young management team who deserve a chance at football league level. Who were they talking about, Jamie Day and Barry Ashby adding something on the lines of "sorry Welling fans but there you are". Have not heard Welling mentioned by Radio Kent over the past week ( have been away for the previous three weeks) but they only seem to get interested when we do anything progressive. The management team have done a brilliant job and what will be will be. I just get so peed off with Radio Kent for only taking an interest when it suits them. By and by in respect of todays game I thought there were at least six who could have been considered for MOM today, in particular the back line who withstood almost all that was thrown at them, however, I thought that Butcher was standout, and was even a little unlucky with the goal that they did score. Roll on Tuesday.

Thoroughly entertaining and exciting game. Just about deserved to win. Great goalkeeping performance. Punching above our weight...took a few today but still came out on top. Need to win more 2nd ball at this level. Well done to all involved.
So proud of our team today. It is a great shame that Luton's fans, for the most part, find it difficult to be gracious in defeat. If Jamie and our team need any motivation for the League visit to Luton, just take a look at several postings on their forum.
Totally agree with Wings TV selection as you will see in NLP tomorrow. Thought we wanted to win the game more than they did in the first half and what a difference Rossco made up front.
Referee was the worst in a long time. I try to be objective but he looked totally out of his depth and didn't have a clue about what was a foul. Gave him 4 /10 in the report but wonder if NLP might upgrade to a 5 as they sometimes do.
As for Radio Kent, does anyone listen to that drivel? I was trying to find out the Brislington result on the car two weeks ago, but after ten minutes of their inane rambling thought 'sod it - I'll find out when I get home and went back to listening to a CD.
Let them carry on with their struggling mid table clubs.
Extended highlights are sorted (and paid for by ITV) ahead of the game. If they choose Boring Wood v Carlisle then it is just bad luck if it is 0-0.
Cracking result and performance for our lads on Saturday - what a long way we have come in the last few years.
Keeper and back four (individually and as a unit) excellent.
Production towards foreign coverage is also a factor. Grimsby v S****horpe (another 0-0 where the finishing from both sides was truly shocking) was live on Al Jazeera.

From Radio Kent reporter and Dartford cheerleader (and even THEY complain about their coverage) Ben Croucher on Twitter:
"Welling will fancy their chances at either Lincoln or Plymouth. Form team and awkward for the other sides. Be great to see them through."
