In round 2, I really don't think it makes

any difference. Everybody's 90 minutes

away potentially from a Premiership side.

The Wings are ball number 37.

If its a league team then Gilligham Brentford or Southend at home would be nice. Away to Fleetwood could mean a weekend away in  brash brassy Blackpool

Anyone at PVR and we'll have a great chance. Personally I'd like a lower placed team to increase our chances of going through.

Personally would rather Lincoln. Beat them last week and no reason why we can't again. Plymouth away about the worst draw possible imo

Been to home park a couple of times. Not a bad place. Plymouth could be easier than Lincoln. If it is Plymouth then I will ask the ex to give us the lowdown on the night life for those weekending there.

No offence SquareVanMan but unless your ex is either 40-50 years your junior, or still going strong on the clubbing scene in her pensionable years, then I am not convinced her opinion is worth much to anyone other than the Latvian Love Length that is Wallis.

Will be strraight onto booking train tickets once we hear the result. Thats if it goes to extra time/pens if all level & not another replay.

Like most others I hope it's Plymouth. I have travellodge voucher to be used this year after Birmingham travelodge ****ed up and cost me £24 parking fee in the summer so could travel the night before to either venue and treat Mrs Tannoy to a never to be forgotten weekend.
Who says I don't know how to treat a girl?

Evening all

A good draw for me, unless we lose to Plymouth (highly likely)
We are a suffer team at home so glad it's a home tie

Either way good luck

No only 16 years younger than me so in her 40's but she still knows what the places to be seen in are due to her younger kids.

That is the least the players and management deserve.

 Here, here totally agree!

City and Plymouth replay at Home Park on Tuesday 19 November - to answer my own Q from earlier.

Horrendous draw - in terms of journey time and expense, but a reasonable one in terms of getting a draw or, slightly less likely, a win.  The obvious problem will be tiredness for the team, with a match at Grimsby on the Tuesday of that week.  If Lincoln win the replay, they will get another chance to spy on us right on their doorstep.  If Plymouth win, they will know we will have had a tough match and two exhausting journeys beforehand.

I know expense is an issue, but I would really hope that in both cases the club sanctions travel by train and, possibly, in the case of Plymouth, an overnight stay. If we get Lincoln, perhaps some or most of the team can stay in the area after the Grimsby match?  Obviously, there would be problems with that as they have jobs to go to as well.  This is where the advantages of being full-time kick in - that and the bigger squads.
