Cant believe the odds on Plymouth are still around the 1.08 region. Surely Plymouth is our best hope in the 2nd round as they will want to focus on the league.....a bit
damn a 3 hour trip on coach or 4hours+ was always gonna be a plymouth win lol :(
Drive, get there over an hour quicker, and cheaper.
thanks to major holdup on m25 once took 6 hours to get there and a series of motorway problems 8 hours to get back. Both without refreshment stops. Averaged 4 hours under normal conditions.
Bad result for us. Ho hum. No reason why we can't beat Plymouth. Certainly won't be resting any players against us though like some thought they would!
Just had a look at lincoln forum seems some of their fans have started to leave homepark. posts indicate lincoln are sending long balls straight to plymouths 6 footers. would assume we have a scouting mission there ready to report back to jamie

Don't see why. This game aside, Plymouth haven't been pulling up any trees in League 2, and have been especially poor at home. We'll get to visit Lincoln in the league anyway. New town to visit, and a big stadium with what should be a good attendance. Looking forward to it.
We're more likely to beat Lincoln than we are to beat Plymouth. That's the most important thing ahead of anything else (whether we've visited them before, how nice the town is etc). A win in the 2nd round would be absolutely massive for this club. It's still very possible against Plymouth though given this squad/management
I'm happy with Plymouth. Lincoln away would have been tough and the crowd wouldn't have been anything special. If we can get a draw then must be a great chance of a TV replay. Also if we can get 5000 at Plymouth then the club gets some money. And a nice stadium where we haven't been before......
Times like this I feel really glad I live in Newcastle now. I joked with a friend we'll end up drawing Plymouth away as it's as far away from me as possible. 8 hour train journey, I'd get to America quicker
Attendance of 3324 on a cold Wednesday night. Can see 5000 being there for our game, so the gate split will put some decent cash in the coffers. Just need a nice 27k prize pot and a third round visit to Old Trafford to top it off

Well you could always fly to Exeter or Newquay......

Just looked. £150 to Exter with trains to Plymouth. Plus a few nights stay. Tempting...
Is there any chance the game would get moved for TV or have those games been picked already?
