Owing to be ill for the Trophy game it is two weeks shy of 34 years since I last went to Kenilworth Road to see them play Newcastle. An interesting day, being chased through the streets back to the station by the Toon Army and one confirming why no one will ever employ me as a scout.

There was a winger playing that day who I thought was absolutely dire and would never make a player..... some bloke called Chris Waddle! Oh for such misjudgments on the away side tomorrow.
