Last Friday saw Welling United play host to the (Tiger) Children's Oncology ward at QEII Hospital

Christmas party.

Led by Carol Sullivan Wallace , Cat Wilde the lead oncology Nurse , Jennifer Richards and many more staff from QEII

Over 40 Children and their parents made the trip to the Eric Brackstone suite

at Park View Road to enjoy their festive party.

They were joined by some Disney characters including Belle & Jake and each child received a 

present from Father Christmas.

It was a pleasure to see the children and parents getting the chance to enjoy themselves away from the stresses of the hospital

and hopefully we have secured some fans for the future.

This is something we will be keen to do again in the future and of course Tiger Ward oncology is one of our chosen charities for the year

I wonder if we could get a group of us together to welcome them FREE to a future game OR at least those that are well enough to attend.

I would be MORE than happy to help with this - It would mean 'giving up' your matchday experience BUT I think it would be soooo worthwhile
