We should have been, but I would have thought it comes down to travel. He lives out near Bristol I think, and with us training three mornings a week, as well as National travel for games against Bromley's regional, decision made.
Not 100% convinced of his quality - we can and will do better in my opinion.
BUT he was exactly what we needed at a crucial time last season, and we arguably may not have won the title without his presence up front. I think he's a decent player who Daisy managed to get 100% out of for a couple of months, just not sure he'd do it every week at this level.
Thoroughly nice bloke too so good luck to him. Feed the Reid and he will score.
Not sure he fitted in well with the dressing room. Several players after the end of season dinner had some very interesting things to say! A huge part of the teams success is team spirit and how close they are as a group. Just 1 player could disrupt that which 1 reason why he's no longer here!
