I don't think we can really moan too much about the result as the pen was a given and once down to 10 men there's not much we could have done. What we could have done though is play the officials like Aldershot did. Lino was non-existent so go in harder, like they did. We get fouled, mouth the ref (they were doing it and no come backs). We get a foul - complain. Ball goes off, that's ours. They go forward, offside.
So many fouls and yellows against us today were half the ref, half the Shots players. If the ref allows himself to be influenced then why not do it ourselves?
I know Jamie doesn't want us rolling around and acting like certain teams (which I admire) but a bit more presence on the pitch, obvious to the ref, will have an impact.

Ref loves a card and a red card this season i said so on the coach to the game there will be a red card today. I'm still speechless at what we saw today.
Interviews with Barry Ashby (very good interview) and man of the match Doug Bergqvist plus highlights should be up tomorrow.
He wasnt even going to book Blaine he was preparing to get the penalty going... until their 4 ran up to him pointed at Blaine and said send him off, The ref promptly rushed over to Blaine and sent him off. You simply must watch the highlighst tonight.. Some of the yellow cards or decisions will have you gasping also a two handed shove 2 yards from the ref got a yellow... Even their fans were saying hes going off for that...
We do need to start rolling around and screaming and getting in Refs faces as the last two games the refs have been on the other teams side and given them everything. Lets hope the ref next Wednesday is strong and fair for BOTH teams.

With regards to Blaine's red, if that is the case then we should definitely be putting an appeal and complaint into the FA.
If he can be seen visibly preparing for the penalty, then he has already made the decision to not book the player. He can't then change his mind because the opposing team say so.
Two yellows and you cant appeal a yellow unless its mistaken identity. There was a terrible tackle on one of our players and their 14 Jordan Roberts come running in 2 yards in front of the ref and two handed shoved Kurtis high on his chest, everyone in the ground said its a red card. He never booked their guy for the tackle then he only gave their 14 a yellow for raising hands right in front of him. Their commentator said "its only a yellow from the ref", Radio Wings said "surely its a red card" and their fans said "hes gotta go" ]
We seemed to be harshly treated with bookings and fouls yet they werent. I can only think it was them rolling around and running up to the refs face that led to this. They werent a good team and we should be beating teams like that because we are better than them even on their patch.

Even the extremely biased bloke next to me, who had complained about Blaine play acting early on when a player went through him from behind (no booking), admitted, grudgingly, that 14 should not have done that. He also agreed with me that there was no place in football with their players rushing at the referee when he was already dealing with a situation.

Was just muttering to myself in the supermarket "How did Blaine get a straight red?" And then remembered it was a second yellow. In which case you're right we can't appeal but we can still complain. It probably won't go anywhere but it's still an official complaint on the ref's record.
I still think Jamie has it right as we shouldn't feign injury, give sly digs, elbow, push when the ref is not looking, swear directly at the ref (that all took place yesterday) but we are still too nice.
Call it what you like but we need to play as good as we get and without overstepping the mark, as mentioned in the points above.
Maybe its why Jamie and his team/players are viewed in high regard, because they do things the right way and have morals, respect and decency. Things that will take the management team and many of these current players to a higher level. They should be very proud, and we are lucky to have them.
