Landslip at Barnehurst has blocked the line. All Bexleyheath line trains are not running past Lewisham.

I live right near the station, quite a few trees and mud slipped but not covering the tracks. I suppose it's a matter of how much further could slip.

Network Rail have been trying to sort since early morning. Hopefully by tomorrow it might be ok?

"..............by tomorrow night it might be ok?"

Hahahahahahaha - this is Network Rail/South Eastern we are talking about.

I suppose we could get trains to D******* and then train back down/caravan from there....?

London bound line is fine, so Dartford fans would just have to get a bus home. We coped with no trains on Boxing Day just fine

Had a meeting about the 50th celebration dinner last night. News on the pitch is that it's in great condition and the game could have been played last night and would have gone ahead. So baring any floods today it looks like we have a game.

Huge credit must go to Barrie and all those that have worked on the pitch the last 10 days.

Amazing condition considering the rain this week.

Must be a micro climate over Welling.......

Taken from Southeastern Railway website:

Owing to a landslip at Barnehurst trains have to run at reduced speed on country-bound lines.
Impact:
Train services running through this station may be delayed or revised at short notice. An estimate for the resumption of normal services will be provided as soon as the problem has been fully assessed.

Well done Barry and everybody involved in helping to get our great pitch back to a playable surface after such a battering.  I am always impressed by how good our pitch looks despite two teams playing on it almost every week.  Let's hope we can produce on it tonight!

Trains now disrupted beyond Dartford because of someone being hit by a train at Swanscombe.

Trains from London on the Woolwich, Bexleyheath & Sidcup lines are "subject to delay or cancellation" according to Southeastern
