Looked more like a pre season friendly at times. We've played ten times better and been beaten. Shows how piss poor Fartford are. 

I heard a couple of Dartford supporters saying it was quite a good game (independently) which perhaps shows what they are used to. I also heard someone at the station telling his wife that it wasn't a great advert for the Skrill Premier, which was a bit of an understatement and he couldn't imagine returning. Pity that we put on one of our worst performances for our biggest gate.

Interesting to note that Dartford fans were not particularly happy with the referee, which would suggest that he was consistent.  However, if you re-examine the first ten or fifteen minutes of the match there were at least four challenges by Dartford players which would have merited a yellow card.  I told my pal he should place a bet that the first, and next, serious challenge by a Wings player would be yellow-carded - and lo and behold.  Also, why should Ross Lafayette have to endure pushing, shoving, kicking and elbows every match? Yes, I know he is a tough player, but why should he have less protection from referees than anybody else on the pitch?  Fair enough if players use their body strength to protect and shield the ball and possession, but kicking, shoving etc are fouls and should be given as such.

Will be in highlights, Great defending by Healy and McLaren who blocked it on the line and Jamie cleared it for a corner but was on the end of a quite awful challenge from behind that seemed to connect with his achilles, probably a red card as it was wreckless, dangerous, from behind and not nice, but he gave them a corner. We had that ref for Salisbury at home and google is not his friend.

Incidentally, the Kentish Football website report on last night's match implies that Cambridge United were only willing to let Andy Pugh go to Dartford.  What is the rationale behind that - is it purely the fact that Dartford would be playing Luton shortly?  They are also playing Cambridge this month, and neither Pughy nor the centre back will be allowed to play.  If this is a current trend, perhaps Luton will loan us a striker or two when we play Cambridge United?

 I like your thinking but the only two decent strikers Luton have are Paul Benson and Andre Gray, neither of whom's wages we can ever afford.

I think there's a stronger likelihood of us getting a freebie towards the end of the transfer window. I know times are hard but it's quite shocking how many players were released by their clubs over Christmas.
