Not sure of formation tonight, but starting 11 is:
Butcher, Fazakerley, Franks, Hudson, Cargill, Berquvist, Mclaren, Healy, Beautyman, Cumbers, Guthrie.
subs are Turner, both Oberstellers, Clarke, Hughes-Mason.
I know our squad is down to the bare bones, but there's no excuse for a performance like this. Hyde being two nil up is representative of the match. We don't look like scoring one goal, let alone two.
Embarrassing.
Before tonight one of my worst ever Welling memories also involved Hyde, when we lost four one away to them in the Trophy I think. This is on a par.
Hyde want it, we don't.
Performances have dropped ever since the fa cup run
The win against Luton was the high point of the season. The wheels have come off. Will do well to survive for one season but simply don't have the resources for this level of football...not that tonight is anything other than a disgrace...whatever the score ends up.
Final score two nil to Hyde.
Well done to them, better than us tonight.
We could do with Saturday's match being postponed to give us a chance to regroup.
Hyde have now taken more points in their last 2 matches than the did in their previous 26. WTF is going on at PVR. I'm glad I was working tonight and didn't have to endure what I'm lead to believe is our worst performance for years

To cap it all at the end there, some of our match sponsors were remarking on the poor performance as the match ended and Ashby came over and swore at them, telling them where to go. I doubt we'll get sponsorship from whoever that was again.
A large number of Welling fans stayed in the stand to clap off the Hyde players.
Daisy had his best day as our manager with whatever he did after maidenhead away last season. We need that now too. Some home truths please and some big changes. Appalling tonight. And for a few weeks now. I expect a reaction Saturday and so will Jamie. Let's have faith they'll do it
Dreadful, yet predictable. The kind of shocking managerial errors that we'd expect from a Hales or Smith. Gutless decisions and an atrocious performance.

I dont think this is the time to jump on the back of the managerial team, we have done extremely well to get into the position we are in, yes we are in a bad spell and heads are down. This is the time to support the team and the management, we have a small squad and we know that we have a good set of 11 players, as soon as we lose the core players we struggle.
Regarding why was Cargill taking the set pieces, he was instructed to take them when we had a set piece on the right side being a left footed player so the ball would in-swing. Also I know Barry shouldn't have done what he did, but I would rather see that which shows he cares rather then just accept a loss to the bottom side.
I really can't remember the last time I saw us play that badly. I know we have a few injuries but I don't think that's an excues to put in such a poor performance.
Well done to Hyde though for getting a deserve win
A truly awful performance. Not a single Welling player played well. I lost count of the number of times the ball was needlessly given away. I didn't hear any Man of the Match announcements which was just as well as no one deserved it tonight. I would also be interested to hear why Guthrie was substituted. It seemed a very strange decision when we were one down.
Full credit to the Hyde supporters who made the trip and got behind their team throughout the game despite not having seen a win all season. Good luck to them for the rest of the season.
One win in eleven over the last two months, against lowly Dartford. That's poor form over a sustained peroid of time. The relegation battle begins now.

I think they would have made up their own minds about where to go regardless of Ashby's alleged input. But the season is not over...there seems to be a relegation fight looming?
I thought I'd never see a worse performance from this side than at Brislington, where the result glossed over the embarrassment. Today however, was in a whole different league of bad-ness.
If we're honest the performances have been poor for a while but we've picked up the odd point here and there. Changes need to be made, and made before Saturday. Let's see a response like we did after maidenhead.
People can dress it up how they like but today was 4-5-1, not 4-3-3. At home to a side who haven't won in 28 that is beyond explanation. It really was square pegs in round holes. If you're forced to play a right back as your right forward, a striker as a left winger and a centre back in midfield, then clearly you need to be a bit more flexible and change the system. To compound it all by taking off your centre forward and most attacking midfielder (regardless of their level of performance) when you need a goal is...well, astonishing.
I don't believe there was a man of the match award given, which sums it up really.
Oh, and tonight we witnessed a series of set pieces that wouldn't have cut the mustard at schoolboy level. Why is Baily - one of our tallest players - taking corners?

Could Guthrie have been subbed to avoid a risk of a booking? Think the bookies watchdog will be investigating this result if any money was placed on Hyde!
Couldn't understand the decision to take Guthrie off....thought he was our best player up until that point. Some quality saves from the Hyde keeper in all fairness to him, and fair play to him for appreciating the banter. He deserves to be at a better club than them, that's for sure. Hyde wanted it tonight, we didn't. Could have been a lot worse than the shoreline suggests. Maybe that's the wake up call the players needed to see that if they don't start winning again soon, we could be in trouble. Need to regroup massively, need 3 points more than ever on Saturday, especially vs woking. Lacked a lot today, need improvements. Keep the faith. They were bound the beat someone sooner or later. COYW!
I hated 451/433 last season and the season before and i hate it even more now, far to easy to play against and isolate the striker, we have no plan B it seems if we had it would of been implemented weeks ago even if it was halfway through a game! We need to make other teams center backs work and move and you can only do that with 2 up top. I'm glad it was a tuesday night game, because if it was a saturday and we had a few roaming league fans they would never pay £15 to come back again. Tannoy man summed it up at the end "On saturday the wings entertain woking, HOPEFULLY will will see you there"
