Why should I leave the forum, have been watching Welling since 1982 and have travelled home and away since. If you don't like my comment then let me know where you disagree , just slagging me off is not a response. Why are my comments not constructive, some players have done their jobs, others not as well. I was just trying to get a debate going if you read my post properly but insulting me is childish.

Your Grade is F - lack of effort in reply, same for your mate!!

A fair assessment J Lyman Stone. The players can only be honest, be professional on and off the pitch and try their best. But all those who played last night deserve this on their report card- must try harder!

Was trying to grade players on whole season, think I have been fair, but some of the juvenile replies prove that some people don't care if some players have not turned up for whatever reason.

There is a way of giving constructive criticism instead of slagging people off! For example, I'm disappointed with Loick Pires this season. But purely because we know from his previous spell with us what a superb player he can be. Not sure if it's confidence or he's not been fully fit but Loick on his day can be a match winner (anyone remember Salisbury)

But comments such as "Loick Pires... He's not my favourite player!" Why say that? I very much doubt if your his favourite fan but he doesn't come on here and say it!

Saying such things and that players should leave immediatly won't help a team full of young players in the middle of a bad run of form.

To even it up,tell me where you work. I will watch you at work then tell you you're not my favourite worker, you're a bit slow and that you should leave immediatly!

Polo - Salisbury was 0 - 0 , don't remember Pires scoring. Its performances this season that count not something that happened some other time. Some players should not be playing at this level and we can't afford to carry passengers. Insulting me is pointless, you wouldn't be allowed at my workplace and I doubt you could do my job anyway.

I was referring to the Salisbury game 2 years ago when we won 4-3 and Pires scored a screamer in the last minute.

Exactly, insulting you is pointless, as is you insulting the players. I very much doubt you could do the job of the Welling players either.

I didn't insult any players, just gave an honest view as to how they have performed this season.
If you think every player in the first team squad is beyond any criticism then why have a forum?
I don't claim to have the ability to play Football at this level and I know that you couldn't do the job of a Welling player either.

What a player did two or three years ago is totally irrelevant now as it was at a much lower level and Players have to show they can play in this league, if not they should go as we can't carry passengers on our budget.
Anyway no hard feelings and the picture by the way is of the Devil's Tower located in NE Wyoming, USA taken by myself in 2008. Forza Welling

Yeah Pires such a great player for Welling that he jumped on the Woking gravy train the other year, nice to see such loyalty.

Ridiculous comment about Pires that rather destroys your own argument. Constructive criticism is fine but you're going to get stick if you're insulting and show no respect. For the record Pires like Pugh and Parkinson moved to a higher level.

Fair points, no insults intended but can you honestly say that every player in the squad has done enough to justify their place and whatever they are paid? I am not stupid I do know that all these players moved to a higher level but how many out of these 3 had much success since they left Welling? I was one of the 436 who paid their money on a miserable Tuesday night this week so feel I am entitled to make a point after having to watch such a poor performance described as rubbish by Jamie Day himself, but have been supporting Welling since 1982 so have seen all the ups and downs. Positive thoughts for Saturday.

Forza Welling!!

Our budget is possible the 2nd or 3rd lowest in this league. Do you honestly think every single player is going to be playing amazingly? Do you think that Jamie can easily bring replacement players in on the money they are offering?

The only person that players have to justify there place to is Jamie Day.

As for Woking gravy train?? Woking were in a higher league when Loick left. Fair play to him for getting an offer and trying to achieve things at a higher level. If Andy Pugh had of come back would he be criticised?

I'm all for debate and discussion but saying people should leave the club immediately is insulting and not going to help is it?

I know what the budget is and am not stupid enough to think that everyone will be fantastic all the time. It must be hard to attract players and we have a few injuries but I expect a bit more than what was seen on Tuesday. I think this discussion ends now and I wish all the Welling players the best for the rest of the season and hope some can rediscover their form before too long. Hasta La Vista!!
