My company sponsored the Match and Matchball on Saturday and we brought 8 adults and 5 kids along and all had a superb time (the kids giving stick to Garry Hill was a highlight....)

Can thoroughly recommend the whole experience to anyone.

My youngest lad was also a mascot on Saturday and enjoyed every minute of it.

Jamie and his team deserves supporting wherever possible.

I was fine for a change, the missus was a bit tired and emotional though! doh

I treated myself and three mates to Matchball Sponsorship back in October and have to say it was a really good experience, and a good investment as my mates enjoyed it as well and have been back to Welling since.

Would highly recommend it to everyone.

My boy was mascot last season for his birthday (and is going to be again this season)

He loved it and has some nice pictures and mementos of the day.

I have also done a couple of match ball sponsorships (as part of a small syndicate) which supports the club and spreads the cost around as well.

Have also done the match ball sponsorship with a group of 10 mates who go 2-3 times a season and love it. Probably spend more behind the bar than the actual cost of sponsoring and always a great day out. All are lads from Welling who have some fond memories of the early days even as far back as Bexley United for a couple !!

Will try to do one more sponsorship this season

Cheers

Lou

Last week, sometime, I believe. Unfortunately I cannot find an up to date fixture list on the official website but that's probably my inability to interrogate it properly.

Is that their way of saying "Sorry, you're not going to be on telly this year..." with the match sponsorship fee being the compensation.

It was on the BBC the day the original fixture was postponed
