I would guess so! Yes we need faces and I know how hard Jamie has been working on getting players in, however for what ever reasons the deals have fallen through. Not sure that people bringing it up on here everyday helps the situation! Hopefully Jamie can bring someone in but with the factors to consider which include Geography, competition and the wages we offer makes it difficult!

I'm sorry, Jamie mentioned in his interview that all the paperwork etc was being sorted on Wednesday (although, during a previous interview it was earlier) and I am not the only person to remark upon this. Is it not a reasonable expectation, as a contributor to boost the budget via standing order and bucket (although modestly), to ask as to progress?
You are more than entitled to ask. My point being is that I don't think anyone here can answer it. What's to say at the last minute the player/club decided to call the deal off? Or that another club came in? No-one knows the answer or can comment on here with the answer. When a deal is all done, signed, sealed and delivered, I'm sure it will be announced!

I think we can trust Jamie. There's no point getting on his back-it could be worse, we could have Ian Holloway with the company plastic signing up kids in the park
As others have said it would be counter-productive both on and off the pitch to pressure Jamie into signing players for the sake of it.
There's so many decent out of contract players floating around at the moment it'll take time to soft through any potentials. Then there's the issue of getting them to put pen to paper, which appears to be the main problem at the moment.
Hang on, all I have done is ask for information as to whether there have been signings - my appetite for info having been whetted by Jamie's comments on two occasions in response to questions posed by Wings TV. Perhaps we should keep total "radio" silence? As for pressure, I would suggest that any pressure results from the fast-approaching closure of this ghastly transfer window and the desire to add to our squad so that it is not down to bare bones because of injuries and suspensions.
