Has to be one of the results of the season to go all that way and win. Well done to all involved. Think Clarkey's foot remains a problem for him and with more players in the squad was maybe a chance to rest him.
To be in the top half after 30 games having won more than we've lost is a fantastic achievement at this stage. Hopefully we can keep pushing on from here.

I had a £1 on 3-1 at 40-1! That's following the £50 I won on Boxing Day betting on James 'Chester' to get the first goal for Hull against Man Utd. We have family in Chester and had taken hours getting back from there a few days before Xmas.

Very important result...should stay up now. Would love to see us stay in this league for a few years. Next season will be a challenge.

Awful weather conditions put paid to this match. Both teams tried to keep the ball on the ground as the wind was extremely strong. Other than the goals, both keepers had quiet games as the game was being played in the middle. So many free kicks for us I lost count but it wasn't a dirty game, ref seemed to give us everything. Nice ground, nice people and a nice journey home with 3 points won.

Beautyman got a unanimous man of the match after the game.
Chester were poor , we werent.

Technical issues galore, i never took the bit of kit to attach camera to tripod but ive got the goals and highlights will follow and should be OK just not as good as usual.
We got Radio Wings up at half time for live commentary as i got the radio server up off my phone
We had to fly at the final whistle to get the train but.... Spills got an audio interview with Jamie Day and that will be uploaded or transcripted in writing if the quality is iffy.

It all should be up tomorrow hopefully

Great win and we had about 75 fans there was the general consensus.

Fanatastic win and good to see the new signings involved. The interesting thing for me about deadline day was not so much who joined the club, but more that who else (apart from Fraser earlier) didn't leave. That says so much about the Wings this season.

I met fellow Wings travelling up the night before and was amazed the game still went ahead what with the amount of rain that fell on the Friday and was scheduled in the north west on the Saturday. Still, my freshly painted airing cupboard interior looks wonderful.

On to Gateshead at home on Saturday.
