Amazing how far-reaching the Maidstone United campaign publicity machine stretches - national and local newspapers and even tv channels. I am actually in favour of 3G/4G pitches - but Maidstone United knew the rules about accession to the Conference South. So, how about this as a compromise - allow 3G pitches in the Conference South and North the season after next , 2015/16, and I don't think that is unreasonable as a compromise.

Err, make that 2014/15 for north and south and 2015/16 for national - was functioning on communal brain cell yesterday. Incidentally, I don't think Maidstone and the Conference management committee will be popular if Conference clubs have to fork out to help the legal bill if the Stones start proceedings -especially those such as Welling Utd (I think) who backed the Sutton United proposal at the special Conference meeting recently.
