Jamie Day has signed French winger Basile Karagiannis who played for Chambly in France last season subject to international clearance being received.

Blimey, Jamie does not muck about.  I do not want to be negative, but I just wonder who has left or has been moved out on loan apart from the three players who have gone on loan?

Indeed. I guess Chris had words with the Italian waiters at the anniversary do!  Ok, gold star and bar to anybody who starts a Wings forum thread in Mongolian.

Bonjour to the new fella although the surname looks more Greek than French....??

As regards loans I think we current have six - Hudson, Mawson, Bender, Sho Silva, Cornick and Wakefield. I am assuming the new bloke and Ajala are actually signed and therefore not counted as loan deals...?

Hudson is obviously here for the season (less the Cambridge fixture) and I would think that Mawson and Bender will stay as we need three centre half options. The other three deals are one month loans as far as I remember so it is a question of which of those to renew (if any?)

I would think that we seem to have a few wide options now so Cornick might be first out (shame if that is the case) or perhaps Wakefield although with Gallagher on the verge of a two game ban we might want/need to keep him?

There is always the faint hope that our player/manager becomes a player again rather than just a manager as seems to be the case these days....

Is Sho Silva still with us? I think he played for Charlton U21s yesterday.

I thought the Charlton bloke had another week or so on loan to us.  It would be a shame if Harry Cornick goes back. Josh (Wakefield) looked a good player too, but I think his loan ended a week ago.

Sho Silva had a very good debut so would be a shame if we don't get to see more of him.

And you assume correctly Wingnut - Ajala has signed permanently rather than on loan

Charlton are at home to Arsenal in the FA Cup fifth round tomorrow. Could Tobi Sho-Silva be involved in that or is he too old?

I think cornick was only a month loan, which is a shame because the lad looks very good. Just came in at the wrong time what with all the postponed games, maybe bounmouth will let us have him a little longer.
