SPONSOR A SONG / BANDEOKE NITE
In Aid Of Welling United FC Ground Improvements

We know it's short notice and its the first time in a while where Nelly's Heroes are free.

We shall be playing 2 x 60 min sets starting at 8.15pm on FRI 14th March 2014
at PVR as a SPONSOR A SONG / BANDEOKE NITE..!!
WHICH IS FREE ENTRY Doors Open at 7.30pm

With all sponsored money going towards helping pay for the Ground improvements.

SPONSOR A SONG
We'd like people to sponsor a minimum of 25p per song.
(therefore if we are to play 20 songs  20 x 25p = £5.00 total per sponsor)
OR
A minimum full sponsor for the evening of £7.00 irrespective on how many songs are played.

No song will be under 2 minutes in length or incomplete.

BANDEOKE (Karaoke with a live band)
For an extra £2.00 any one wishing to do any vocals.
Please contact either Patsy or Sy (PM on forum or email wingsbarwufc@hotmail.co.uk)
and they will pass on a set of songs for you to choose from.
So you can join in with the band. We will supply you a set of lyrics.

The Dead line for this is Thurs 13th March as we will not be offering this opportunity
on the night.

Anyone wanting to help with getting sponsors please contact Patsy or Sy for a sponsor sheet
on the above or see us at matches by WUSA table and we can either email you a copy for you to print
or collect.

And lastly We will be looking at the obligatory raffle (donations will be welcomed )
during the break with all profits also going to the club.

Dont forget its FREE ENTRY hope fully we can all make a difference.

Its Not on the list above Mark but if you want to do it, it is on our full set for the nite.

Just thought its tricky to sing at the speed we play it....... but ideal for a "Matured" Punk fan !!!

Hi all.

We have had a few sponsors but obviously are still looking for a lot more, as well as

a very positive response to people saying that they will be there on the night.

The main question we have been asked is how the BANDEOAKE will work.  

Basically we will hand the singers a sheet of the lyrics so that no one will not know the words.

We still have a few spaces left for those wishing to experience performing with a ' LIVE BAND'

which is totally different to singing with a Karaoke Machine. 

The closing date for Bandeoake performers will be THURSDAY 13TH MARCH.

Just amending a slight error on the original post.....So it now reads

Hello All,


Below is listed songs that will be included in the Bandeoke section on Friday. These will be played the band as the second set.

We are still looking at volunteer vocalists to join us. 

To do so we are now only looking for individuals to make a donation to perform with the band rather than the £2.00 stated on the initial post.

There will be a maximum of 3 mics available per song and you will be supplied with the lyrics for each song you choose to perform incase you think you'll

forget the words.

To take part either PM Patsy or Ron Manager or email wingsbarwufc@hotmail.co.uk and state which song you'd like to get up and be part of the band.

Spoke to Patsy today and she told me that the money raised at the Bandoke night will pay for the electric to go into the new toilets, so well done to Patsy and Sy and all those that supported them last night.
