Congratulations to Radio Lincolnshire - a thoroughly professional, precise, informative, colourful, atmospheric report on the Imps versus the Wings. Up there beyond BBC Radio Cornwall (Truro City) and BBC Radio Wiltshire (Salisbury) who were also superb in covering their teams versus Wings in past seasons. You expect a partisan approach otherwise they would not be local radio stations, but for fairness and professionalism these stations are brilliant. I wish they could stretch their coverage to include Welling United!
believe it or not BBC Kent, was taking reports on the game from BBC Lincs, the same as they do for some of Dirtfords northern trips when they dont send there own reporters

Crikey, a sign of future intent?
More like "evidence" that they can try and use the next time we complain. Get one in for the season to try and paper over the cracks.
To be fair to BBC Radio Kent something is better than nothing. They have told us that they receive no funding to cover us but using clips from other stations and telephoning Daysy after a game cost's them nothing. Yes they are jumping on the bandwagon a little but they are promoting OUR club. We really could do with a few fellow bexleytonians (perhaps escaping from the sinking, foreign owned, CAFC ship) to join the WUFC bandwagon.

Back to normal tomorrow, chaps.
BBC Cambridgeshire and Kent cover the Us v the Darts at the Abbey Stadium and BBC Leeds hack it down the M1 to us for the 'Fax match.
Owing to the unique way the BBC is funded, etc.
Yeah, badly.
