With the lovely weather at the moment, and even lovelier run of form,it would be great if everyone could get as many friends and family down for the game as possible.

With the excellent season we've had, the lads deserve much higher attendances.

Mclaren injured.
Fazakerley gone to left back and Wakefield right back. Cornick on as right forward.

Lack of options on the bench a concern. If we get another injury we're in trouble.

Any news on Obo? Kurtis? Rossco? Guess Bender not on the bench due to loanee rotation. Probably could've done with one of Williams/Griffin though with hindsight

That penalty came from Hudson not dealing with a long ball over the top, then Turner didn't gather it when he could have. Gregory was going tap it in, so Hudson pulled him down.
The goal and sending off seem to have spurred us on.

I knew after 2 mins when we managed to head over when clean through after mistake and only keeper to beat that we was destined to lose today or draw....... Hudson was awful 1st half and suprised he come out 2nd half i guess lack of cbs the reason he come back out the crowd was good today and much better than normal shame the players didnt bother turning up..................... Whats going on is pretty scary and very confusing where is Laffeyete and Guthrie and Butcher? Why have we gone back to one up top? Why change a formation when we playing well and getting gr8 results? Im also very worried that half our team are loans and at the end of the season we are gonna have not even one club cb and lose our only pacy players worrying stuff to me :(

Could be something simple like a bug going round the dressing room for all we know. I'm sure Jamie will have answer in the post match interview.

Individual errors cost us today. Lessons to be learnt again. Still on course for an excellent season.

Yes agreed wings but why change formation when playing gr8 we had the players to stick to winning formation we only played 3 up top when goal down and man down (and for the love of god how many long balls did we play today...........) so frustrating at times was not good at all today lol :(

thought the game had 0-0 all over it, and I thought we played well in parts and played better with 10 men and created had half chances to level the game.

First of all good luck to KHM. Did well last season but it hasn't worked this season.

Don't accept Blaine was awful today and even if he is entitled to a bad day in a season where he has been largely outstanding. It just never looked like being our day, but worst part is the injury to Connor Mac who it looks like may have done his cruciate again.

That really puts everything else in to perspective - best wishes to Connor and hopefully it isn't. Jamie has not ruled out recalling Barney Williams.

Thought their manager Neil Aspin gave a very good and honest interview after. I didn't notice but apparently Gregory put the ball in the net after Blaine's foul and Aspin said he would rather have the goal and play 11 men.

Didn't think they were anything special but like Alfreton and Macclesfield we seem to find physical sides a challenge.

Fancy us to get something Tuesday

I think the club need to address the falling crowds and ask themselves why they're down on last year despite the improved league position.

Straight away I can tell you that when I ask my mates of they want to come to the game, the one and only thing that deters them is the ticket prices...

I appreciate that the Conference stupidly set a minimum price of £15 but there must be some way of getting around this. I know we've done a good job by letting kids in for free but people simply can't afford to stump up £15 for non-league football.

As mentioned before it stems from player wage expectations .....it is well known Daisy has 'nearly' signed players until either pay was mentioned OR we were gazumped by another team...sometimes a lower league team!!

We are now competeing with full time sides and will not help either....there are too many mercenaries!!

I am also to be convinced we would get say 1200 if the price was £9 for example.....personally I think we would still get around the same

Clashing with Charlton vs Millwall the attendance was never going to be great and I think 645 would have been fair, having said that I know of people who have also been deterred by the £15 cost.

I would agree with much of the comment in this thread. However, the one area I would take issue with is the thought that Blaine Hudson had a disastrous first half.  Although I did not have a great view of the sending off incident, Blaine did seem "banged to rights " in respect of his actions early in the 2nd half.   When he first came to the Club anyone within earshot of me would assume that I was one of his biggest critics and did not rate him at all, he has made me eat my words and I think he has been outstanding over recent times. He did not have the very best first 45 mins, however, I do not see his performance as one that would justify singling him out for criticism.

I agree that £9 would be an ideal admission price. The board may agree as well. The problem is, as ridiculous as it sounds, the Conference won't let us have a ticket price of £9....

I know this probably is for another thread, but there really does seem to be very few kids coming compared to when I first used to go?

Thought we massively missed Jake in midfield and Tom Bender at LB.

Am I right in saying Blaine Hudson will serve a FOUR match ban now? His second red card of the season

Where does the minimum price thing come from when I paid £12 to get into Tamworth and Nuneaton and I'm not a concessions (yet)

Some elaboration might be useful Russ...

Is that just the case if it's for violent conduct?

A red card for denying a goal-scoring opportunity is a one match ban. In theory that would be on Tuesday at Cambridge, a match in which he would not have played anyway. Whether it being a second offence would mean it becomes a two match ban, I don't know.

My reading of the rules is that the previous suspension increases it to a 2 match ban. Tuesday and Saturday then.

I didnt mean to single blaine out as to me he been one of our top players in recent games and put in many good performances in my eyes but I was simply saying that the lack of cb cover is a worry as to me he was well of the pace 1st half kept giving the ball away and mis timing tackles the main thing that gets on my tits is changing a formation that has been working gr8 and going back to one up top and playing long balls all the time its enough to make a grown man cry (just ask the wife) :) anyways cmon you wings

ps hope to see why butcher laffayete guthrie are out of squad at moment there missed for sure :(  also the £15 ticket price I think is a bit steep considering you can go see chamionship teams for about ten pound more but i always take my 9 year old for free so I'm happy enough :)

We didn't play one up front and we haven't done since the Tobi's came onboard.

We haven't played long ball in living memory.

Butcher, Ross and Kurtis are out due to illness and injury, as per recent weeks. Shouldn't be a surprise really.

£15 ticket price won't change. Yes its a lot, but its the same as everyone else in our league ... or cheaper if anything.
