Amazing how different the side is to the side at the beginning of the season, only Faz, Harry and Joe. COYW

 

Actually I think Harry came in later didn't he.

After a couple of good BBC local radio commentaries (Lincolnshire, in particular), this one on BBC Gloucestershire is terrible. How many times have they said "Welling will be more than happy getting a point here."?

They are probably correct, a point given the injury/illness situation away to an improving side, would be a decent one .... but its incredibly patronising.

Indeed, the generally tone of it is very patronising. Many comments like Forest Green needing to beat teams like Welling.

The 18 year old sounding guy is a complete tool. Adds nothing. Other guy is ok, rose-tinted specs maybe, but ok. The other guy adds nothing at all. Rarely speaks, and when he does its nonsense.

0-0 ... great point. Sounded like a game without much incident, but with crucial players missing and rich opposition thats a decent result.

A good point away from home to a team above us in the league in very windy conditions, both centre halfs, Mawson and Taylor had outstanding performances and young Barney Williams once again showed he is one for the future. Onwards and upwards, let's follow up with a win against Braintree on Tuesday and then Chester on Saturday
