Just to summarise Welling have had a fantastic season. To stay in the league in the first season of being promoted was a priority and to be in the position at this stage in the season is a credit to the club, players ans the fans.

Agree, we have done very well. Need to avoid second season syndrome and push on. It would be good to get some key contracts tied down sooner rather than later. Success would be top half plus 4 figure average crowds.
Need some significant signings in close season.....over reliant on loanees right now!!!....someone said that we only had players today from the team that beat FGR earlier
If we can achieve the same again next season then I'll be extremely happy. We haven't got the budget to even be in this league so to survive for any season is nothing short of a miracle.
I can't praise Jamie and his staff enough for what they've done.
On the subject of loan players I would imagine this season has been all about trying players out to see who can compete at this level and the fact we probably can't afford to sign/pay the wages during the transfer window. Perhaps we will see new contracted players in the summer?
I disagree that we are OVER achieving......i think we are showing it can be done with the excellent management and team ethic......it shows up other clubs who with far bigger budgets squander it all away on mercenaries with supposedly big names in the game!
Financially i think we will be in a little better position next year and then hopefully every year after that
14 isnt over acheiving at all,Dirtford did that last season finishing 7th and look at them now...,we wont finish lower then 17 unless we lose all remaining games
Just to re-iterate that it has been a great season first time back in such a long time. I know some results havent been great recently but overall we have a good season. The hard work will come next year consolidating our position in the league.
