With all the criticism and talk of poor attendances, I believe we should go back to basics and look at something Charlton went with a few years ago (Target10,000)
albeit on a smaller scale lets start with Target 1,000.
This is something I hope to sit down with the Club & WUSA to discuss in the next few weeks and hopefully we can all pull together in a similar vein rather than
the constant negativity we see on the forum.

I think we all know that the attendances could and should be higher. Rather than being negative, any initiatives suggested and/or put in place to increase attendance are a positive.
I'd happily volunteer leafleting again if it arises. In fact I'm surprised the club doesn't text/email supporters directly asking for volunteers.
If everyone took one relative or friend to a game we'd reach the 1,000 target straight away.
Although leafleting costs money we also have social networking (such as the Facebook group), which doesn't cost a penny but gives the club a lot of exposure.
Will mention the carnet idea again, along the lines of 6 tickets for the price of 5, flexible and valid for any league game next season. Would get more money up front. Am happy to buy the first one if introduced!
Good Idea, but no need to suggest that the posts on this forum are always negative. Has the club received anything for the BT Sport Deal or do you only get money if you are shown. Not fair if it is the latter.
Bore off JLS!!
This thread is entitled "Target 1000" and has nothing to do with BT Sport.
Get your pen and paper out or write them an email yourself as it clearly is upsetting you so much
Salisbury did something like this, Challenge 2000, for the Kidderminster game, we succeeded with 2,217. If you were to go with it, the best thing to do would actually be to target kids, cheap or free kids tickets, giving them out, to hopefully bring in more paying parents. It is what we did, and it went fairly well.
Hi liam me and my son are coming tommorow im just wondering if you have any events happening nearby the game tommorow I see your running a barbecue (with face painting and few other things) at the game is this just for the home fans? thanks for any help :)

Sorry I didn't get back to you on that, I hope that you came down and made it to the bbq, and if so, I hope you enjoyed my antics dressing up as a panda... It is hot in that costume aha

They does sound good however a big part of that was your players going round schools, posing for photographs, signing autographs and getting them interested that way. Our players are part time and have to go to work!!
