We had a lot of kids there who I don't think are counted in the overall attendance.

At least the club have come up with the 'Target 1000' initiative. Hopefully a few things will be trialled in pre-season to get attendances up.

This was just a friggin awesome game we scored 1st half and looked good then they scored a top goal from 30 yards no goalie could of stopped but then there 2nd was terrible defending and there 3rd was pathetic butcher was at fault such a weak shot and he somehow got no where near it :(. I decided me and the lad would go behind the welling goal 2nd half in the hope we would see some action and boy was I right. To start things of was a lovely jubbly top corner free kick from Harry just outside the 18 yard box The welling fans around me was terrific 2nd half and at this point we was singing were gonna win 4-3 (to be honest they were singing songs about every player i really like the karagounis song :) ) Then it was like watching brazil we seemed to be carving them up at will and was only a matter of time until we equalized and it duly come from a through ball and tidy finish Then there cb decides to give us the finger when we get a corner and ofc he then gos and handballs giving us the winner from the spot from rosco (he scores when he wants) The crowd around me were in raptures when he gets sent of for crazy tackle and takes at least 5 mins to get of the pitch lol. It was a awesome day and my son is delighted as before the game Rosco kindly come over and allowed me to take picture of him and my son (my fav player and sums up was a top bloke he is) All in all this was far better than the day out at salisbury on monday and I just hope the next 4 months can go quick as gonna miss the weekends watching the wings up and down journey :( CMON you wings

Terrible....glad i am missing it!!!....is it as bad as the scoreline suggests?

We have gone on holiday a few weeks early

How can you tell if you're not there? Even if we had lost, we were celebrating a season, not one match.

Unless you're paid to be there - players, staff, referee, stewards etc - you should count towards the attendance figure, regardless of whether you're 8 or 80.

Anyway, a ludicrously entertaining game to cap the season off. Some key players signed up already and I'm sure Daisy will continue to find a few more gems as he always has done.

Roll on next season!
