Hope Cambridge stay down - decent away trip, bring a decent amount of away support & they should get Braintree as the Xmas game, leaving us with the play-off winner.
Anyone entering the field of play from the crowd should immediately be banned. If that happened consistently you would get rid of the problem within weeks, but Bristol Rovers won't do that as it would half their attendances overnight and they need all the support they can get given relegation. Sadly most of the mindless idiots will get away with it, and ruin it for everyone else, such as Welling fans when the kick-off time this coming season is moved, or its segregated, or the local pubs are shut before and after the game, or any combination of the above.
Just noticed the interesting week for Ebbsfleet and Dover. Tomorrow they play at Priestfield in the KSC final then meet at Stonebridge Road next Saturday in the play off final. So less than a week to go before we know who our Christmas and New Year fixture will be against
I still dont get it why everyone is hung up with Xmas fixtures.....they are often postponed so it would be far better to get the bigger crowds when it is guaranteed to be played!!

We have to play everyone twice so.....
A Boxing Day fixture against Dartford will always get a bigger gate than a Saturday one. I don't understand why as transport is worse and some people go away for Christmas, but the fact is it does. I have to work or hope someone will cover for me on most Bank Holidays so I'd be happy for no games on those days.
Amazing to see the play-off final is still being held at a ****-hole like Stonebridge Road whilst a nonsense competition like the KSC final gets played at Priestfield. Priorities!
Paul Booth scored for Folkstone in play off final v Leatherhead...but lost...did any Welling players play for Leatherhead
No, but only two of their team have never played for a Kent side and they train in Dartford. Jamie Coyle is player/assistant manager and one of Jack Parkinson's brothers played.
Went to Ebbsfleet - really poor game on a par with our game against Dartford two years ago. Ebbsfleet didn't turn up and unfortunately Dover delivered the one ball of any quality to score the goal which always looked likely to be enough.
Why was it sickening?.. Dont like either side but best team won on the day. I see Euostar City more of a threat than Le Dover so best outcome in my opinion.

Daisy no doubt already knows who he wants in, but i hope that leatherhead Rb Ryan Mahal is one of them..spent a week training with bolton before the play-offs, 19 years old and lives locally.

Had to Google that fella...hope we don't stick him up front!
Cannot stand Dover and there are reasons that I won't go into on here and they will be no less of a threat than Ebbsfleet.
Yes, the best side did win on the day, I don't dispute that but was hoping it would be Ebbsfleet who would also provide far better gates over Christmas and New Year
Dover will be less of a threat...they havent got Kuwati money that Ebsfleet have (they are taking the team to Dubai this week)......AND..dont worry about gates at Christmas & New Year...if we are hanging on to that for finances then we are in trouble

Sickening
Conference will seem proper old school next season with Dover and Alty back.

Got to agree with you RM, besides Dover is a better away day as wewell.
