Mr Day senior seemed convinced there were several other options lined up who had said things along the lines of "Yes, I'll sign with Welling if nothing better comes along". I think we need to be realistic that there are several other big payers out there and for some money matters, but for those where improvement is preferred, we're recognised for good football, and letting people progress, and I would expect it will lead to most of those with that attitude being swayed our way when nothing better comes along nearer to the end of June.
