As most of you are probably aware, WUSA administer a Boost the Budget scheme which allows Jamie Day to receive extra funds to use when adding players to his squad. 2 years ago, it allowed Jamie to sign Ross Lafayette whose 26 goals helped us win the Blue Square South. With hopefully the club looking to avoid the "Second season syndrome" that Dartford suffered, any extra funds could help Jamie sign the extra player or 2 that could really make a difference this season.
The scheme involves donations either at games, into the bucket we keep by the WUSA desk, or regular direct debits into the WUSA account. Rest assured that any money that is paid into the WUSA account is ring fenced and only used for Jamie's playing budget. Ideally, I imagine Jamie would want regular amounts paid in monthly so he knows how much extra he has to work with from the start of the season.
Please only contribute to the scheme if you can make regular payments for the season, this could be anything from a couple of pounds to week to £10 a week or more, all this money adds up and gives Jamie and the team the best possible chance of having a successful season.
If anyone has any queries then please let me know.
