Co-owner Mark Winter revealed the figures at a meeting of the Salisbury City Supporters Club held last night.

Hereford asked to cough up £ 350k but Salisbury only £ 50k??
Much as it pains me to have D******* back it would be better for us financially and Salisbury is a joke of a club that should be punished properly after the fiasco of a few years ago.

Will be a lot of clubs sniping their players now too.
Has knock on effect for Dartford too remember, i.e., Pugh probably signed for them partly due to reduced travel in Conf South, that's out the window if they come back into Conf Prem ... same for Chester.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Salisbury should be dumped into the Wiltshire and District League where they won't be bothered by away supporters in their precious covered end.
As much as I dislike Dirtford, they are more deserving of a place in the Conference than a bunch of serial cheats.
They are a horrible little club and should be demoted to the Southern League south. Remember the mouthy goalkeeper after JH penalty miss, what an idiot. Have ideas above their station and should be put in their place. They should have been expelled last week and did not deserve another chance!!
Looks like they have been given more time as they try to get another new owner. Is a disgrace, they should be kicked out for good as this isn't the first time they have go up the spout.

Salisbury should be drop down to the lowest league possible, with a massive fine & points deduction.... Hate to say it but Dirt ford should replace them asap
As for the Conference need to have a good look at themselves, didn't they think ...MMMMMMM..Training camps in matla...playing wages ..or not as it turns out
but signing players on silly money and a average home of just over 1000....
As for this latest chairman, we was taken in way back when & still ridiculed. so lets see what happens at 1300....
PRESS STATEMENT SALISBURY CITY FC
June 13, 2014 1:23 pm
Salisbury City FC are facing expulsion from the Conference on Tuesday after the leagues board decided to relegate them today, despite meeting certain financial demands placed on them.
On Friday £75,000 was transferred into the club solicitors client account to meet unpaid debts. The Conference board have also been given assurances that in the next seven days, the funds to meet all outstanding club debts will be paid. However, because of a legal issue in relationship to ownership of the club, the Conference board have decided to throw Salisbury City FC out of the league on Tuesday. It staggers belief that this is a Conference board who were quite happy, along with the FA, to endorse the appointment of Otail Touzar but following forensic investigation by the club to expose him as a fraudster, are now using him as an excuse to throw Salisbury City FC out of the league.
Following legal advice, Salisbury City FC will now consider taking an injunction out on the Conference or taking the case to an FA independent appeal board. It is disappointing that the Conference have failed to give the club a 7 day extension to clear up their financial irregularities and as a result of their imminent action it leaves Salisbury City FC with no choice but to take legal steps to safeguard their future.
- have been given more time,
- have not learnt lessons from last time,
That someone would;
- transfer £75,000 for just 2% of ownership whilst someone he has only meet a few weeks earlier and with a dodgy record gets 98% and puts in nothing, (previous quote from co-owner on their site),
and that Salisbury come out with things like ... "using him as an "excuse" to relegate them" and complaining that the Conference and FA were happy to endorse him, when Salisbury's previous owner, and other directors were happy to do that too.
Even in the highly unlikely event they get out of this and aren't relegated, they will have no players and no manager the way it is going as they are jumping ship or threatening to at an alarming rate. If not relegated by the Conference I'd be surprised if they aren't on the pitch this coming season now anyway.
There's even someone on their website saying that the money is there and why have they been thrown out. Err, because the money should be with the creditors not Salisbury I imagine.
Strange how The Conference are very strict when it comes to enforcing financial red table such as minimum ticket pricing (£15) but seem very lackadaisical when clubs start going bust...

They failed to pay up on deadline day....50k or £50 they failed to pay.
now they are blaming the Walter Mitty investor, threatening to take legal action
against the conference, good luck the lawyer who takes that on, as he may not
Been related to the conference south for so e reason, thought they'd get completely thrown out of the conference leagues...
But if they don't put up £50k and pay their players by 4th July, they are expelled and the league will be one short. Clubs would lose one game of home receipts,
All the Conference management are interested in is three up, three down. Salisbury's last two seasons in the Premier have ended in relegation through financial reasons. Once might be unlucky, twice is unforgivable.
Spot on Mark. When I said I wouldn't contribute to a Salisbury bucket collection some thought it harsh. Although I feel sorry for the genuine, real, long-term fan, the club themselves in general have been a joke for 5 years. Even 3-4 months ago a statement came out about aiming for league football etc. They don't own the ground either and the lease is being slowly wound down for a property developer I suspect. They are ****ed off the pitch more than any team I've ever seen. Expect an exodus .. which has already started.
Damn he would of been so ideal to replace rosco :( was really impressed with him when visited salisbury last season im guessing we couldnt compete with the wages again anyways lol
No where in this whole sorry mess does anyone from Salisbury accept that if they had spent what they could afford, they would not now be at the mercy of conference rules and con men! What is the point in having deadlines if they actually mean nothing? 19 other teams managed perfectly well.
Even my mate who has followed them on and off for 30 years says he can't be bothered any more as no one will live in the real world regarding who takes responsibility and what size club they are.
This whole saga is actually good news for us as, with the potential for an effective double relegation if your gamble fails, fewer clubs may think about trying it. If I have any sympathy it goes to Lowestoft who were preparing for their first season at Conference South level and now appear consigned to trek round the north (unless Salisbury are booted out and they can swing a move back south) due to the incompetence of buffoons at clubs above who should have known better!
