Not strictly on topic but this will affect a lot of us next season.
If you didn't already know (like me) from October it will not be possible to pay the toll at tollbooths. We will have to pay in advance or upto midnight on the day after crossing. Payment will include using text, phone, online, post and retail outlets.
Think the charge is a rip off but you will also be able to register your vehicle agaisnt your address and will be sent a bill each month if you use the crossing which will help if you tend to forget about these things.
I know this because I have a client who is working on the change over.
