Non League football is being dragged through the mud again by idiots overspending.

Anyone remember the Salisbury comments about pushing for the Football League which were made earlier in 2014. How did that one work out for them?

When is it going to stop?

"Recent events with other clubs this summer has illustrated how difficult it can be to run a lower league football club and it is essential that the directors can rely on
funding commitments made."

Recent events actually show that if you spend what you have, not what you might get, it is achievable. If you spend or commit to spend money you do not have and
cannot generate it is substantially more difficult. Perhaps if there was a bit more humility and a bit less willy waving over being 'big clubs', 'deserving to be this and that'
or rattling on about 'rightful places' etc we might all have a better competition where success is sustainable and can be enjoyed!

If you look at the league below, it looks like there is a conveyorbelt of people with large amounts of cash willing to throw at Non League clubs.

I don't understand what the pot of gold it is they think they are chasing, unless it's just ego?

I reckon Barnet will be joining Kidderminster looking at the money they've spent.

They've just signed Charlie MacDonald and Bondz N'Gala. God knows what wages they're on.
