I have only seen one game but with the view that the team was probably close to the one that will start then a few views....
1. Defence looks good...Jefford looks like he will provide the crosses we need
2. We are very short up front....goals will have to come from everyone as we dont have a 20 goal a season striker ( or two would be good)...loan time methinks
3. Daisy may have to play more than he wants to although One Joe and Harry to come back
4. I think the big, thuggy teams will turn us over
On other points....ground looks good, bar looks good, shop looks good.....amazing how far we have come in 3 years!!
The infrastructure is getting there I really hope the team matches that.....No pressure Daisy!!!
What we do know is that he (along with his staff) will damn well try!!
I think the centre backs look a bit stronger and more physical than what we had last year. Obviously none are as good as Franks but they have played at this level before and above, so should no the tricks that some of our opponents play. Will have to see how the season pans out but as you said we will always have a go and you cannot ask for any more than that!! Am looking forward to seeing Tyrone Marsh as he seems to be highly rated by Michael Appleton and should be up for the time that he is here.
