Wanted a lot of £££, his agent thought he could get it elsewhere. After failing to do so they came back, tails between legs, and said they'd take the deal. By that time the offer had been taken off the table, and rightly so.
That's what I'd heard from the rumour mill anyway.
Find it a tad pathetic that players earning a couple of hundred quid a week need an "agent". As ever, if they don't want to take advantage of Jamie's proven ability to develop young players and help them progress into league football, then more fool them. We're better off without them.
That being said, he did look like an exciting player last season.

Problem is it's not just a few hundred quid anymore....get 10 clients earning a few quid and the 20% agents fee suddenly looks good.
You would have thought that a year in this league and he does well then a Football League club will come calling, but wants money when he has still lots to prove.
Shame we could not do a deal with BK - he impressed during very little game time. As for Scott Kinch, I reckon he could still do an enforcer job for us - we certainly could have used him to good purpose last Saturday!

What planet do you live on Bertie??????
Scott Kinch played (very occasionally) in a very good Conference South team two seasons back. He is now plying his trade in the Ryman Premier.
As I have said before thank God you are not our manager
