To say that the first 30 minutes was one way would be kind. Had Woking got one, it could have become embarrassing. It was alarmingly bad! Totally outplayed, out-thought, out-paced. I cannot remember seeing such away dominance as this. To be fair, the team tried, we scored totally against the run of play and grabbed a point that looked impossible on the half-hour. Second half we were better, but this team is currently not good enough for this level. The manager needs to work his magic...and fast.

On the plus side, the new bar is very good and the shop is a step into commercial prosperity, which is vital, because sadly, crowds of 600 will not fund the sort of team strengthening we seem to need. Still, it is great to see Welling in the Conference, but to stay in it we need to punch above our weight, and today we were let off the hook.
