As there is no Fantasy Wings This Year for a bit of fun im puting together The Tipster Challenge I'll start it next week - Sat 6th September, giving everyone advanced warning and a chance to join up.
I will try and make sure I get the fixturres out at least 3 clear days for tipping.
I will be soley using the Vanarama Conference Site fixtures so Cup Matches will NOT be included.
The competition entry shut off date is Friday 19th September and is open to all registered members
of the Welling Forum and its FREE to take part..
****THE RULES
1. Entries are via the Tipster Challenge thread only.
2. Points : 1 point for the correct Home - Away - Draw prediction, and 1 bonus point for getting both teams' scores correct.
3. Each week a double up game(DUG)will be indicated, this will double the usual points scored on that game only.
4. If anyone is due to go on holiday etc, where they will not be able to post on the thread, then they can PM me in advance and I will put the prediction in for them. Please don't abuse this facility though.
5. Mistakes are made in the scoring. If a mistake is spotted, please PM me and I will look into it and restore the correct points for the following week as required.
6. If duplicate sets of predictions are entered for the same week then the first set are used only. If you want to change your submitted predictions then just edit your original post.
7. If any person wishes to withdraw please PM me - this way i wont have to keep looking for your predictions.
8. If a match is postponed, for any reason, that match will be voided for that week, and will be included later on in the season when played. In that case, a further opportunity will be given to predict again, and the original prediction will be cancelled.
9. All predictions MUST be entered by the time stipulated below the fixtures. Any predictions placed after this time will be counted as void.
10. The competition entry shut off date is FRIDAY 19th SEPTEMBER
11. In the event of a tie the person whoever accumilated the most DUG points is the Winner.
Remember - ENJOY the competition, it's for fun (and personal battle pride in some cases) - at this point in time there are no prizes but i shall try and get something donated for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and when i do will announce it.
I ask all persons to remember that this is purely a voluntary effort to run the competition, so abuse is not acceptable.

Yep....sounds easy.....seems like something I could do.....another opportunity for me to show everyone my vastly superior footballing brain....count me in.
So if for example we were doing the Championship and I put Fulham to lose very game, I'd be guaranteed points every week.
Could i only suggest on what is a good effort by yourself to get something going, that if you score the game correctly you get 3 points rather than the 1 bonus point, sometimes can be easy to guess who will win, but the correct score is a different matter.
